How To Play Numba Card Game
Fun number game for kids, family and adults!
2-5 Players
Ages 4+
15 Minutes Playing Time
Below example with 4 players:
Spot when the total of the same fruit matches the number, then be the first to shout NUMBA!
The fastest player wins!
Set Up
Shuffle then randomly pick a number card.
Place the number card face up in the middle.
Shuffle then deal out all the game cards face down one at a time to each player.
Each player has a pile of face down game cards.
From the remaining number cards each player randomly picks a number card, the player with the highest number goes first.
Play
Take turns going clockwise.
On your go, turn over your top game card and place it face up.
Make your own pile of face up game cards, only the top face up game card is in play.
If the total number of the same fruit across the face up game cards of all players equals the number card in the middle, shout NUMBA!
The first player to shout NUMBA! collects all the piles of face up game cards and adds them to the bottom of their pile of face down game cards.
This player then turns over their top game card to continue play.
Collect all the game cards to win the game.
Rules
When turning over game cards, lift the edge furthest away from you.
If you shout NUMBA! and the total number is not the same as the number card in the middle, then going clockwise give each player one of your face down game cards.
If two or more players shout NUMBA! at exactly the same time then those players each randomly pick a number card, the player with the highest number collects the game cards.
If you run out of face down game cards you are out of the game.
If there are three or more players, when two players are left in the game:
- The first player to correctly shout NUMBA! collects all the game cards and wins the game.
- If a player incorrectly shouts NUMBA! they lose all their game cards and lose the game.
Switch (Optional Variation Of Numba)
Add extra fun by choosing to switch or keep the number card after each shout of NUMBA!
The first player that shouted NUMBA! and collected all the piles of face up game cards now chooses to either switch or keep the face up number card in the middle.
If this player chooses to switch the number card then they randomly pick a new number card and play continues with the new number card.
If this player chooses to keep the number card then play continues with the same number card.
